Our Story

Every great adventure begins with a compelling narrative, and at Wild Goose Flower Farm, the heart of our story is Alexis Rehbaum. Alexis is a remarkable woman, wearing multiple hats as a loving wife, devoted mother, compassionate nurse, proud Air Force veteran, dedicated horticulture student, and a passionate flower farmer. Her penchant for flowers began in the Netherlands, where she was stationed during an overseas military tour, where she first laid eyes on a breathtaking sea of tulips.

Following the joyous arrival of her children, Alexis faced the formidable challenges of Postpartum Depression and Anxiety. Amidst the turbulence of those times, one constant source of solace and healing emerged—her deep connection with growing flowers and tending to her home garden. Fueled by her innate love of nature and an exceptional green thumb, Alexis embarked on a new educational journey, and is now pursuing a degree in Horticulture.

Today, Alexis, along with her cherished family, works tirelessly to nurture the flourishing haven called “The Wild Goose.” Alexis' vision for the farm extends far beyond mere cultivation; it's about creating a sanctuary for Charleston’s Tri-county area. Here, visitors can come together, finding unity and joy in celebrating the wonders of the natural world.

The farm is more than a place to pick flowers; it's a sacred space where people can revel in the tranquility and rejuvenation that nature offers. Alexis is committed to providing all with an opportunity to connect with the Earth, find peace in its embrace, and cherish the bounties it graciously bestows upon us.

“A flower blossoms for its own joy.”
